Saudi Arabia and India have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen bilateral cooperation in water resources management, reaffirming their shared commitment to sustainable water security and resource conservation. The agreement was signed during the official visit of India's Minister of Jal Shakti, C.R. Patil, to the Kingdom. The MoU provides a framework for collaboration in key areas including integrated water resources management, groundwater development, water conservation, desalination, wastewater treatment and reuse, as well as the adoption of advanced technologies for efficient water management.
