The Government of Madhya Pradesh signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Art of Living Foundation to deepen efforts toward achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and strengthening rural transformation across the state. The MoU was exchanged in the presence of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav at the Mantralaya, signifying a strong state-level commitment to holistic development. The agreement focused on a wide spectrum of sustainable priorities, including water conservation, natural farming, rural livelihood generation, women empowerment, environmental protection, and cow welfare. Additional areas such as de-addiction, education, healthcare, and village development were also central to the collaborative agenda. The initiative aimed to align with the state’s Vision@2047 framework and support effective policy formulation, monitoring, and scheme evaluation. Senior officials from the Planning, Economics & Statistics Department and the State Policy Commission participated in the event, alongside key representatives from the Art of Living Foundation. The collaboration was designed to build on the Foundation’s experience in capacity building, community development, and institutional training. This public-private partnership underscored the state’s ambition to foster inclusive, resilient, and sustainable growth through grassroots engagement and social innovation. By joining forces with a nationally respected NGO, Madhya Pradesh positioned itself to create scalable models of SDG-driven governance and community-led impact.
