His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah chaired the 27th meeting of the ministerial committee at Bayan Palace to follow up on the implementation of bilateral agreements and memoranda of understanding signed between the State of Kuwait and the People's Republic of China. The committee reviewed progress on a number of key development projects, with a strong emphasis on infrastructure, renewable energy, environmental sustainability, and economic zone cooperation. Notably, it was confirmed that a leading Chinese state-owned enterprise was set to commence phases three and four of Kuwait’s renewable energy initiatives, underscoring the country's commitment to clean energy and its national development vision. His Highness directed committee members to ensure strict adherence to the agreed timelines and strategic frameworks governing each project. The committee also examined outcomes from recent Chinese delegations' visits, particularly in the areas of afforestation, desertification control, and environmental infrastructure. The meeting reaffirmed the State of Kuwait’s resolve to strengthen bilateral cooperation and to implement signed agreements with efficiency, accountability, and long-term impact.
