The EU has introduced a new ESRS Knowledge Hub designed to support companies in meeting sustainability reporting requirements under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive. Developed by EFRAG, the platform consolidates all key documents related to the European Sustainability Reporting Standards, making it easier for organisations to understand and implement the rules. The hub provides access to adopted standards, implementation guidance, and educational materials aimed at improving the clarity and consistency of ESG disclosures. It currently includes the full 2023 ESRS set and the simplified VSME standards for smaller businesses, with more interactive content expected to be added over time. By centralising sustainability guidance, the resource is expected to enhance reporting quality across the EU. It will help companies navigate technical requirements, reduce confusion around compliance and improve comparability of climate and ESG data for investors and regulators. The initiative represents a broader EU push to boost transparency and improve the reliability of corporate sustainability information. As more companies begin mandatory reporting, accessible guidance through the Knowledge Hub is expected to play a key role in supporting effective implementation.
