Your Job

  • You will be responsible for translating RTL (Register Transfer Level) code into a physical design layout and preparing it for manufacturing.
  • Managing the complete flow, including synthesis, placement, routing, and sign-off.
  • Optimizing performance, power, and area (PPA) while meeting design constraints.
  • Ensuring design reliability and adhering to timing, signal integrity, and power requirements.
  • Performing STA to validate the timing of the design, ensuring it meets specified timing requirements.
  • Addressing issues like setup and hold violations.
  • Running Design Rule Checks (DRC) and Layout vs. Schematic (LVS) checks to ensure physical layout accuracy.
  • Conducting Antenna and Electrical Rule Checks (ERC) for robustness and correctness.
  • Developing an efficient floorplan and conducting standard cell and macro placement to optimize area and minimize congestion.
  • Creating optimized placements that align with the power grid and signal requirements.
  • Working with front-end design, verification, and fabrication teams to ensure cohesive design and smooth handoff.
  • Coordinating with the fabrication team for tape-out readiness and addressing any layout issues that might arise.
