World Government Summit 2026 Kicks Off in Dubai With Focus on Innovation and Sustainability

The World Government Summit 2026 has begun in Dubai, gathering thousands of global leaders, policymakers, innovators and experts to explore how governments can better address the world’s pressing social, economic, and environmental challenges. The event runs through 5 February 2026 and is being held under the theme “Shaping Future Governments.”

More than 6,250 participants are expected at this year’s summit, including heads of state, ministers, Nobel laureates, business leaders and representatives from international organisations. The agenda brings together over 445 sessions spanning public finance, investment, technology applications, leadership development and sustainable development objectives.
