Abu Dhabi Chamber has received the Best Sustainability Initiative award at the 10th Abu Dhabi Sustainable Business Leadership Awards for its Sustainability Label, an initiative designed to help private-sector companies assess and improve their ESG performance.

The Sustainability Label provides businesses with a framework to evaluate their sustainability practices, identify areas for improvement, and gain recognition as they make progress. The initiative is intended to help companies respond to increasing sustainability expectations from markets, investors, and supply chains.

The awards were organised by the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Group, part of the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi, highlighting the role of sustainability initiatives in strengthening responsible business practices across the region.

The Chamber plans to expand the Sustainability Label to more businesses, supporting wider adoption of structured sustainability practices across Abu Dhabi’s private sector. These developments highlight the growing importance of practical sustainability frameworks for businesses.
