The Blue Visa complements the UAE’s Golden Visa (for investors and professionals) and Green Visa (for skilled workers and freelancers). The UAE aims to draw in the top talent from around the world in environmental science, policy and innovation by providing sustainable professionals with long term resident visas.
This initiative aligns with the country’s broader sustainability objectives, including its Net Zero 2050 strategy, the promotion of renewable energy, and the hosting of global environmental forums. The Blue Visa strengthens the UAE’s standing as a global hub for climate leadership and sustainable development.
